2019 Tata Harrier Review

Tata Harrier, the new production version of the H5X concept-based SUV from Tata Motors, got its new name recently. This amazing car from Tata is expected to be sold commercially from April 2019. Tata Harrier is likely to be priced in the range of INR 10 Lakh – 18 Lakh. This five-seater car, revealed to the world at the 2018 Auto Expo, immediately became the start of the show. It will apparently be offered in two models: one of the models is Tata Harrier – a five-seater SUV This. A 7-seater SUV will be introduced in the upcoming days with a different nameplate.

Tata Harrier will be based on the OMEGA (Optimal Modular Efficient Global Advanced) platform derived from the L550 platform. The exteriors of the car will be based on the revolutionized IMPACT Design 2.0 Philosophy. This car will be styled bold and the large wheels will give a sturdy look to the car.

Harrier will be available with both diesel and petrol engine options with a 2.0 liter, 4-cylinder motor. The 2.0-liter turbocharged engine offers a torque of 320 Nm and 140 bhp. It will be equipped with a standard six-speed manual gearbox. When compared to the other cars from Tata, Harrier offers a great equipment list. It will be a front-wheel-drive car, but buyers will have an option to choose 4-wheel drive. This amazing car will retain 80% of the looks from the H5X family.

Harrier will be an affordable version of Range Rover class cars. With a honeycomb front grill and a contrast roof, it overshadows all other cars priced in this range. The cars offer a spacious cabin for 5 people and the people seated in the second row get an ample amount of space. Both front and the back row will have center armrests in the center. A touchscreen infotainment screen will be provided to improve the user experience.

Though there is no confirmation about the fuel-efficiency of the car, Harrier can offer a mileage of around 18 KMPL. Like other SUVs, this sturdy car also considers passengers security as its priority. It comes with anti-lock-braking system, traction control, and multiple airbags to ensure your security.

Tata Harrier will go into production by the end of 2018 and a full list of specs will be revealed soon. With a wide range of specs and equipment available, it comes at a great price when compared to the other cars with similar specs.
