The automobile giant Maruti Suzuki achieved one more milestone in its way. Recently, the new series of Dzire broke all the existing records by selling over one lakh units in the Indian market.
The target was achieved because of many reasons such as added advanced features, stylish design and most importantly affordable cost. In short, the third generation Dzire is loved by every car enthusiast.
The petrol version is powered by a 1.2-litre K-Series engine, which is capable to generate 83bhp of power and 114Nm of torque, while the diesel model comes equipped with a 1.3-litre Multijet engine producing 75bhp of power and 190Nm of torque.
The new third generation Dzire has come up with eight variants out of which six are available for customers with AMT options.
Talking about the exterior design of the new Dzire, it is believed that the front face is very much similar to that of Ciaz. The highly designed grille along with fog lamp makes the look more appealing, while the redesigned tail lamps and LED indicators add an extra charm to the new Dzire.
R S Kalsi, Senior Executive Director (Marketing and Sales) at Maruti Suzuki India in the success story of the new Dzire said, “This sedan has lifted the bar of Maruti Suzuki to a whole new level. The design itself is an inspiration to the young generation and a symbol of prosperous India. He also informed that brand Dzire has increased Maruti Suzuki’s share value in the market too.”
According to a report, the company claims that 17 percent of the customers preferred AGS variant during the time period of April-September 2017, which made a great impact on their total sales as a whole.
